Sad Day For Me

There is nothing that takes away the pain that you feel when you loose your mate.
I lost mine three years ago today.
There are certain days when it smacks you in the face.
Most of the time I'm OK , I feel good in the fact that I can live on my own and take care of myself, laugh , and remember the good times.
But today , I'm just sad...

  1. Dear Sharon, While we can never replace your partner in life, we can be here to help you through those tough moments when you miss him so terribly. Your cottage is darling. Stop by and visit me whenever you feel blue. I lost my Daddy last June and some days I get very blue too. I'm your newest follower.

    Love,
    Susan and Bentley

  2. I'm so sorry. It's got to be a hard, lonesome road. Friends and family can only do so much. But glad you found the blogging world to be a part of the friends and family support.

  9. Sharon, may you only grow closer to one who made you...may you draw strength and comfort from Him...may you hold fast to your precious memories...and wake in the morning realizing you have a purpose and seek out that purpose. May God truly bless you with peace and comfort.

  12. Dear Sharon,
I am so very sorry for the passing of your husband and best friend.I can't even imagine your pain.
This October 2011 will be the 2 year anniversary of my only beloved daughter going to heaven after a valiant fight with the terrorist cancer. The first 12 months I was in shock and denial. It is horrendous to loose a child but I can't imagine your husband.I will be praying for you.
I just became your 80th friend...I prefer friend over follower. Iwould love for you to visit me and become my friend. In blogging I look for people who truly want to be friends...and share our happy and sad times.
I just keep remembering that God will not put any more on us than we can bare...but he sure is pushing the breaking point...lol
Have A Sugar Sweet Day and Happy Pink Saturday.
    Hugs
    Simply Debbie
