This is my sun room . It is a small room , only 12 x 14.Imagine all the furniture gone , except for the built-in cabinet to the left of the pocket french doors. The table is too big and impossible to put the leaf in by oneself.
I use this room as a dinning room when I have guests, only when I have guests .
I also use it as a studio when I'm painting , because the light is so good , and an extra work station when I am getting ready for a craft show , which is why it is in such a mess right now.

How would you go about decorating it on a budget to serve all those purposes and still look Shabby Chic' ?
Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful room with all the openess and light.
I would start with painting the table and chairs white and shabbying it up a little.
Maybe slipcover the easy chair and add some burlap or floral pillows. It's a great room and I think you can make it look wonderful with just a few changes.
hugs

Hello there,
ReplyDeleteThis room has great 'bones'. I am no designer but my first thought was a corner surround bench seating with a square table on one side. I think they may be called diner nooks(?). And of course I would defintely keep the reading chair out there somewhere;).Love the windows, I can see why this would be a great room for crafting;). Can't wait to see what your creative juices come up with. Have a geat week!
Thanks for posting on my blog about my new project room. I had to come over and check your blog out and I like what I see. Welcome to blogland. Can't wait to see what you come up with for your room.
