OK , this is the design I finally decided on , a straight rail with a little twist , there are 3 different sizes of boards , I got 4 sections done yesterday afternoon before it got too hot , just 2 more sections to go and then the painting , we primered the new boards before we put them up.
At the other end of the porch where I still have work to do, in the weeds ,volunteer marigolds ,and wild blackberries , was this sweet little blue flower , looking like a morning glory but only about an inch and a half wide , only one , but a pretty little surprise from nature.
