Small Burlap Project

Today I’m sharing a small ( easy ) burlap project.

A friend gave me this cool gallon jar , I thought it needed a little something , so I took a piece of burlap and added one of the little Citra Solv transfer samples I made the other day, stitched it together and made a sleeve for the jar.

Now I can use it to store something , not sure what yet , but something.

Any ideas ?

Makes a nice vignette with the basket I bought the other day.

That’s it , that’s all I got today !

Except these cute pictures of my grandkids when they came Trick or Treating last night.

  3. What a great jar! I guess I must have food on the brain, because the first thing that came to mind to store in the jar was home made caramel corn! Yum!

  4. Now that's just too darn cute! I love adding burlap and images to otherwise boring items. This container would be perfect for holding coffee, sugar, teabags, whatever.

    Love it.

  10. Found you through Burlap Week at Whisperwood Cottage. I have a bunch of mason jars I'm turning into candles, and now that I've seen your jar, I've decided I'll wrap the candle jars with burlap. Thanks for the inspiration!
