Playing With Pink Paint

As you know a few weeks back I painted my front door pink . I love it !

Then I made loose comfy slip covers for the seats on my old green stripe swing , but I decided I needed to make the yellow and green chairs blend a little better .

Soooo , left over pink paint in hand I headed out this morning to see what I could do.

This is what I ended up with.

Let’s get a little closer…

Yep , I painted pink polka-dots on the back and arms of these cheep plastic Adirondack chairs .

I like how the green ones look best.

Do you think I should put polka-dots on the seats too ?

I was afraid they would ware off easer on the seats.

Any way it was fun , and adds a touch of whimsy out there.

What do you think ? Do you like them ?

    Thats a perfect way to dress up plastic. You really can't tell unless you look real close that their not wood. I don't think I'd paint the seats.

    What a cute idea! Your cottage and artistic talents shine. I like the polka dots just like you have them along with the throw pillows. I had some of those chairs until they finally weathered away, but they sat real comfortable and were easy to wash down. I do believe I would have enjoyed pdots on mine too!
