Spring Mantel , New Mirror


A few weeks ago I found this mirror at one of the local thrift shops , I knew that with some white paint it was going to look great on my mantel .

The birdies and the bunny are my nod to Spring .

We have had a few days that gave us a hint of spring , but the next few days are going to be more like winter even if the first day of spring is tomorrow .
Three weeks ago I bit the bullet and joined Weight Watchers online . I am down 4 pounds so it is heading in the right direction . Wish me luck , I’m tired of my clothes not fitting .
Look what I found at a garage sale last Saturday !

I got the lamp base for $3.00 . I had the lamp shade . I am going to add some white trim to the shade and some white chalk paint on the lamp base and distress it some so a little of the gold shows through .
( Pay no attention to the mess on that counter in my sun room .) I have been working out there , can you tell ?

    Good luck with your weight watchers. I say, every day, that I'm doing something but another day goes by.......

    You never have enough lamps and that's a great one. Keep your fingers crossed that we don't get the snow they're predicting. I can't take much more winter.

    Wishing you great results on Weight Watchers. I did WW a few years ago and lost 36 lbs, but some of the weight has come back. Was just thinking today that maybe I should rejoin.

    Oh love that mirror and your lamp is precious! I need to find some new things to add to our bedroom! It is black and white currently and I am yearning for Spring. With all the white stuff keeping us indoors this weekend I need a change! I am new following you! Love your blog! Hugs Anne
