Several years ago I worked in a gift shop , and you know how you do when you get an employee discount, You find yourself buying things that you might not have a use for , but because you think they are pretty or they might make a nice gift someday ,you start collecting something.
Such is the case with these little figurines.
They have been sitting in this corner cupboard in my guest bathroom for the last year.
Before that they were in their boxes packed away.
But now I'm thinking they need a little respect , they need to come out into the living room.Look how sweet they are !
They each speak of Spring .
With little touches of pink and roses.
Yep ! They are moving into the living room !

4.Moore ( Gourd )Whimsies , Barbara is a fantastic gourd artist, and a fellow Arkansan.
5.Wild Flowers and Country Roads , Lynn is a recently retired blogger who lost her hearing at age 39. She is a multi talented cottage style loving lady.
There you go . Five great blogs to visit !

To answer your question about painting large pieces. I usually try to roll on the paint to get it started and then brush over top for a more textured look. It is all just a matter of what works best for you.
