Another Garage Sale Redo

Here is a little wash bench I found at a garage sale for $10.00 . I know ! $10.00 !
It was pretty beat up . the doors were all broken up , to bad to even put back together . The top is kind wonky and wavy from moisture. But I could see the potential .
This is how it looked after I took the doors off and wood puttied the cracks and sanded it ,

And here she is now with a new coat of paint.

Her drawers are lined with music sheets…

It is the perfect spot to display my handmade tea towels . But I don’t think it will be around long enough to make it to the craft fairs this fall .
I had a lot of fun staging her though .

Just a couple of cute pictures of Reed in his favorite TV watching spot . He has dumped out his toy box and added a few of my throw pillow for comfort .

The chalk board on the chairs is an old cabinet door.

This lamp is one I got for $3.00 at a garage sale a few weeks ago , a little paint and a handmade rosette added to the shade makes it worth a lot more !

Another chalk board made from an old window .

012

And a couple of old brass candle holders painted to look shabby chic’.
013

I have a few more things in the process , but I had to take a few days off to keep an eye on this little guy while his day care is on break .

But I will be back to work soon and will have a few more things to post about.
Have a Happy Forth of July !
